and a REPOSITORY is not available?
I used the ppa repository, but there are only the jaunty packages from the OOo 3.1.

Make sure that you have root priviledges to do that.Would you mind explaining a bit more. For the time being , try this “sudo apt-get remove openoffice*.*” in the termial and type in your password & it should be removed. After the removal, follow installation procedure

I cannot uninstall the current OOo 3.1. from the fully updated Ubuntu 9.10. I cannot do it from Synaptic. Donno what’s the problem. I tried to install the 3.2, but didn’t succeed and even uninstalled (from Synaptic), the 3.1 starts again. Help?
