Hullap said that you will get less frame rate compared to that you in Windows, so it is better playing in Windows. Smile

But if you seriously want to play a good FPS game, you should try your hands on Urban Terror: http://linoob.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=3 UrT runs natively on Linux, Windows & Mac OS X.

Use a lite Window Manager like RatPoison in Linux may help you getting a better frame rate if your frame rate is not very good.
^^ Are You Kidding
You're asking CS guy to shift to UrT Tongue
WAt abot Wine..?
How it Works in linux to convert Direct X games to Linux kernel or something like that...?
I am downloading UrT . Lets see how it is ..!
If you want to game, windows is the best. Running games in WINE won't be a good experience since it demands a lot of system resources. Get games natively developed for linux than using WINE/CEDEGA.
